General Questions
Which social media are you most active on? [UPDATED - 5/4/2023]
Quick answer: Instagram will have the most updates as of May 2023, but that can change at a moment’s notice. It will get all bookish updates from now on. Goodreads, BookBub, and my Amazon Author Page will have books added as they come out and will be the best places to follow for release updates only.
All other project related updates will be on the COMING SOON page of this website. It will be updated infrequently.
The Why: As a highly socially awkward and introverted person and not very social in general, social media is a daunting place and full of stress for me, especially when I had to worry about what I was and was not doing on any given day.
The last year and half haven’t been the best for me. I stepped away for a long time due to a bout of depressing events and some tough times offline. While there have been improvements, it could easily slide again so me posting again it a tentative move. I was very close to pivoting away from writing in 2022 and there are still plenty of days that I still feel this way, so to keep going, I will engage with social media at my discretion. Instagram will be the main social media I update.
I’m hard at work keeping my mind occupied with my stories and have embarked on a journey to love my art again as well. It’s a slow process and I hope to add other social endeavors as I am able. My schedule is currently in a state of changing from week to week, sometimes day to day, but I will do my best to keep books coming out at regular intervals. I have so much to share with all of you!
I'm still writing (I have so many drafts ready for edits…) and now drawing again. This website’s coming soon page will hold most of the updates about the various projects I have in the pipeline.
Places I may comment on sporadically or cheer for other authors, etc.
Instagram / Patreon
Other accounts I hold are on the About page, but I do not frequent them as much or they are for other ideas in the future.

Why do you not have a Facebook account? [UPDATED - 7/17/2019]
I have never been very comfortable with Facebook ever since it came out. (This makes me sound old. LOL!) It’s a lot of personal information for me to put out there just to make a fan page or group. Maybe in the future I will have one, but no promises or guarantees.
July 8, 2019 - UPDATE
I have been attempting to make an account. So far its not working out, but I am still trying. I will update this again if it works out, if it doesn't then I won't have an account. I apologize in advance if it is your main social account - I keep breaking it. It's been a really frustrating process for me.
July 17, 2019 - UPDATE
Still no luck. I'm stuck so once I can get a fix, I will be deactivating it. I had not anticipated it to be so difficult so I will stick to Instagram and Twitter. If you somehow find the account, please do not message me there. I am unable to respond. Thank you!

Are fanworks (fan fiction, fan art, accessories, prints, etc) of content/characters from any of your book series', ok? [UPDATED - 12/31/2022]
Yep! But please don’t sell anything in any physical or digital form/type without my express written permission. Fanworks of any kind/type must not make claims of being official. Thank you for understanding!
If you are book crate/box service interested in any of my work, please reach out to me on my CONTACT page.
Fan Fiction
I cannot read any fanfiction for legal reasons (sorry!), but I do encourage people to have fun with fanworks, just don't sell them in any way.

My review won't post to Amazon! What do I do? [UPDATED - 10/23/2018]
Sometimes Amazon has bad update days where everything gets a bit weird on their site. I asked Amazon about what to do when a reader cannot post a review and they gave me the response below! If anyone is having this problem please contact Amazon - they should be able to assist you. (Goodreads is most likely similar, Contacting a librarian is probably the best course of action!)
Amazon's response:
"To protect the privacy of our customers, we do not share information about specific reviews with anyone other than the customer who posted it. If a customer contacts you about their inability to submit [a] review, please ask them to write to [email protected]. We can help the customer about the situation."

Why do you write male protagonists?
The answer is simple: I write books with male protagonists because I identify more with them. Will I write books with female leads at some point? Probably, but as of right now, I am more comfortable writing male protagonists.
Why do you not state what part of the LGBTQ+ community you are?
Personal choice. I've lived my life without it. I didn't even know what I was existed until well into my late twenties. I just figured I was weird among my peers and let it go. Its great knowing I'm not weird and there are others. I've only told a few people and only my mother knows in my family. So, I ask that my privacy/choice be respected. I do write characters that represent me and always will.
Where do you get your 3D mock ups? [UPDATED 5/4/2023]
I made most of my mock ups using DIY covers, and placeIt. My cover artist also provided me some as part of their design service. If I use any others in the future they will be added here as well. (These also appear on Zurr Sol and social media sites I use.)
Who made your covers? [UPDATED - 5/23/2024]
The Deity Rising covers were designed by Diana (Triumph Covers).
The Terrwyn’s Curse covers are designed by me (for budgeting reasons) and the images used have been properly licensed through Depositphotos. I do all photo manipulations, edits, touchups, etc. from those licensed images myself. I do not use their AI-image generator design tool to make my covers.
One day I hope to make illustrated or typography-styled book covers using my own art, but for now, for budget reasons and my current skill-level, I work with licensed photos for my book covers.
My general stance on A.I. generated art for my book covers:
I will not use it. As long as my work is under my control, I will do my best to track what I use on my covers, but I may miss something. It may take me a little while to fix if something slips through due to my schedule, budget, etc., but I will.

Why do you not have an art portfolio posted via other websites anymore? [UPDATED - 12/31/2022]
I’ve had a hard time keeping up with policy changes on various portfolio sites. Since I’m not on social media all that often, I’ve missed various things I’ve had to opt-in or out of, so I won’t be posting on other sites for my portfolio needs for a while. For now, they will remain as they are to stop anyone from taking the username and carry links for my website instead. My artwork will be under the ILLUSTRATIONS tab on this website and you’ll see some on my socials from time to time as well. There will also be an online art store to purchase my art sometime in the future.
You mentioned a new writing process on your blog. What is it?
My new process for writing a series is to write it all at once or in batches.
It suits the way my brain functions with larger plots, but this also means it will take longer for newer series to launch. But! This means that when the series is ready, book 1 will move into publishing and should, hopefully, mean books can come out closer together (budget willing).
Depending on the series, some side stories will come out alongside the main series or will come out sporadically once the main story is completed.

Why don’t you have a mailing list?
Budget reasons and the added stress of maintaining it. This may change in the future, but no guarantees. To get updates on my newest releases, please follow me on BookBub, Goodreads, or my Amazon Author Page.
Terrwyn's Curse Questions (R-Project)
What is R-Project?
R-Project is a place holder name that also refers to Terrwyn’s Curse. It’s also what I use to keep myself organized (files-so many files…). The term R-Project will still be used in the same way I used L-Project to refer to Deity Rising.
When’s Terrwyn’s Curse’s [insert book number here] coming out? [UPDATED - 5/4/2023]
As of right now, Terrwyn’s Curse will start in May 2023. The series will follow a release schedule of a novel, novella, novel, novella, etc. This release style is what’s doable for me budget wise and each novella links into the novels.
Please check the COMING SOON page for more current updates!

What is Terrwyn’s Curse about? [UPDATED - 5/42023]
Terrwyn’s Curse is about a seer who must guide the future on the right path to ensure a brighter future, but it is not without its risks. Alistair Galdwyn must find the ice wyvern shifter from his visions to ensure everything falls into place and stop the Rites of Magic from gaining the upper hand.

Deity Rising Questions (L-Project)
How many books will Deity Rising be? [UPDATED - 12/31/2022]
The main story (Deity Rising) is 3 books. There may be more books in this world with the possibility of an expanded edition of the main story.
Deity Rising was an ambitious story and rather niche. I loved it, as did many others, but I've had to shift my focus elsewhere. While the main story will remain published (as of now), anything more in the series is unlikely to become a priority writing project.
There are stories from different character's POV and span different parts of the timeline that I'd like to write. I've had days where I want to just start over completely, and this is another reason I'm moving to other stories to stop my need to fix, fix, fix, until it becomes something new. So! Yes, there is more to this series, but it may be a long time before I write it. Thank you for loving Faust's story - my first published work. It really keeps me going!

Why was Deity Rising relaunched?
I had to make this difficult decision when my previous cover artist went out of business with no warning. It not only left me without a cover for Deity Rising Book Three, but it made it so I could not do a second edition of Legacy: Deity Rising Book One with a glossary and character index as I have no access to the previous cover to expand the spine for the print edition.

MP Project Questions (formerly the Blood Crisis series)
What’s happening with the Blood Crisis Series? [UPDATED - 12/31/2022]
In short, this series is on hiatus until further notice. Please see this blog post for a more in-depth answer.
November 16, 2019 - UPDATE
I spent the first half of NaNoWriMo working through the plot for this series and it still needs more time to simmer, but the worldbuilding is nearly complete! It is a massive undertaking and I want to tell this story properly and I have a notebook to keep track of all the changes I have in mind.
December 31, 2022 - UPDATE
Still hashing this out, but I have several starting points and have yet to decide which is best. The world is still missing something, I just haven’t thought of what that is yet, so on the back burner it remains.
